I was going to buy a convertible until I saw how my wife drove the first 6th gen we took off the lot... After that the convertible wasn't an option.. LOL...She takes what ever vehicle she wants...And isn't shy about any of them.. She did say it's tough not to just keep on going past work some days..

Everyone has said it rides like its on rails, acceleration excellent. My parents liked how just a blip of the throttle gets you to whatever speed near instantly.

I have let my kids who have been driving a while take a few runs in it, after me going on a quick drive with them as a passenger. They enjoy the acceleration and handling, but are very worried about visibility. It got one of my sons interested enough to go from a truck to a sport type car.

My brother in law drives a Charger RT, and after taking a drive in my car, started checking Camaro inventory in his town. I think we'll get him in one soon enough.

Wife won't drive it. It's okay, she is a great copilot and DJ.

My Wife drove mine the other day and I was the passenger. I'm sitting there while she carefully pushed the gas pedal grinning. We got on the Highway and finally I said "floor it dammit" Her response was Holy Crap

Then she scared herself when she saw how fast we were going

This is the kind of response I was hoping for!

99.5% of the time I am a "no one drives the Camaro but me" guy but situations come up when a non-car person drives your car and its amusing to see what they say.

one friend of mine that drove it went out and bought his own shortly thereafter. my dad drove it but he had a cts v3 at the time and my ss 1LE camaro was still poverty.

I can trust any of my friends to drive it they are mostly bunch of tits, and would hoon on site. I dont trust anyone. Soler throttle module with Valet mode is legit.
