My wife is the only one else that has driven mine and the instant smile on her face said it all.

What's with all these "no one drives it but me responses"? Aside from being an irrelevant response to the question, how do you not have a single friend that you trust? I've been able to drive so many cool cars because I swap drives with friends. I bought my Camaro because I drove a friend's.

She (my 19 year old) has driven it a couple times, I have a couple videos of her getting on it and the slow grin/chuckle that comes across her face as the ass end "wiggles & screeches" is priceless... I told her "If it does ANYTHING you don't like, let off the gas and hit the brake and steer into it"... She's done well, the nanny's keep her in check but let her have fun... She's a good driver...
HIT THE BRAKE AND STEER INTO IT??????

Hope you have good insurance cause thats the best way to wreck it

I have several car buddies who I would let drive my Camaro, one of which is a former Camaro owner, but the opportunity hasn't arisen since I've owned it. Plus no one else in my immediate family, including my wife, knows how to drive a manual. And they aren't going to learn how on my Camaro.

I have a couple of buddies that I think could easily drive my car and not do something reckless in it but, I don't trust them in the car. Many moons ago, I had a really good friend of mine take one of my cars out for a spin in the middle of the night because I refused to let him drive my car in general. He flipped it several times over and totaled the car. While yes he did steal it, he also had plenty of years of experience driving fast cars and just found himself in a bad situation.

Be that as it may, I don't have many people these days I would ever assign the term friend to and I'd prefer to keep it that way. Of those select few, none of them would ever ask me to drive my car despite all of them being avid car enthusiasts. But, I would also never ask to drive theirs.

Geeze... Who would of thought on an internet forum someone starts a post and you have all kinds of responses/opinions to the OP's topic. Some on topic, some maybe not so much. Like every other thread on this forum everyone sticks to the OP's topic/question?? You can't honestly believe that...

Nobody drives my Camaro but me... (Or maybe I should have said, nobody HAS driven my Camaro but me) Not that I wouldn't let anyone, but nobody has ever asked. I'm not in the habit of just offering up my keys to any of my vehicles. My wife isn't comfortable driving it, so it ain't like I force her too. Why do so many people think that everyone's situation is exactly like theirs? I've got a lot of friends. Non of them own a sports car.

Also... like your response is any more relevant then someone saying nobody drives my car but me? You didn't answer the OPs question either.

Oh come on, stop playing the semantics game. You just acknowledged "no one but me drives it" is different than "no one has driven it yet". The former means it will never happen.

Not sure why you think my response was irrelevant. I was responding as the person who drove someone else's - I liked it so much that I bought one. I've only had it for a few months, the people who have driven it either have 6th gen Camaros now or had one in the past, but they have driven my other cars too.

My wife drove the Camaro a few times, in all honesty she is not particularly keen to (as she vastly prefers her slow SUV) and neither am I

When she did do so, she said it was "OK" and the car drove very well (in snow and ice mode that I told her to never, ever switch away from, plus I reminded her about the importance of throttle control ).

No, it does not. I have an '18 CVO Harley Street Glide. If you are familiar with Harley that CVO is worth more then my SS Camaro. I've let 1/2 dozen people take my bike for a ride. They've all asked if they could. All of them own their own bikes. I've ridden all kinds of friends bikes as well. As I said... none of my friends own a sport car, they all own Harleys... So maybe stop making assumptions...

Why does anyone even care what someone else does or doesn't do with THEIR car?

I'm going to be that guy just to trigger those where this matters SO much BUT, nobody drives my car!

I do not really have any issues with the hood on this car and I'm only 5'9 and sit as low as the seat allows. I just recently had a Charger rental while in DC and THAT hood is hard af to see over the big hump. Chevy did it better for sure.

Nobody else drives mine either.

Not sure why anyone would be critical of what another person will or will not do with their car. Really none of their business.

When I first got it, I wanted to share with friends and family…
But I had one brother I would never get near it….he would for sure take it past it’s limits and have no remorse if he wrecked it…..so he didn’t get to drive it….
I loved the reactions to the torque, handling and fun seat of the pants feel…..
