Best All-Season Tires for 2019 SS

Folks: Just bought a 2019 2SS convertible; I'm in Massachusetts. The car came with the run flat summer only tires. Although I won't drive it in the snow and on icy roads, I will be driving it all year around. I'm looking for the best all season tires I can find. My car has some annoying interior rattles and that may not be related to the summer tires and be another issue, but I'm looking for all-seasons that will ride "soft" and I don't have any allegiance to any specific brand. I'm not racing or beating on the car, I drive it normally and open her up on the highway.

Would love some opinions/recommendations!

Thanks!

Continental DWS06+. Such an improvement from the stock run-flats.

almost any major brand, Michelin, Goodyear, Continental, all season non run flat should fit the bill.

Michelins are great.

I agree with Allez. The other "best" performing all-season is the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4, but the Conti is a little better riding. The Michelin has better performance in the snow, but as I recall from the Tire Rack test the Conti actually performed better in the wet and is at least as good on a dry road.

I have to agree. My 2017 had the run flats and the ride was terrible, even on freshly paved roads. I put new wheels with the Continental DWS06+ all season tires, what a difference. Handling is great and road noise is almost gone.

I'm Running Cooper RS3's. I'm please with them. I wish the made them in Run Flats, cuz when I had my Runflats I got punctured 3 times and it saved me so I could drive to get them plugged.

I have been running a set of Continental DWS06+'s on my 2017 Camaro SS. This is my second winter with them. Excellent tire in the cold and in the snow. Excellent in the rain as well.

That said, I have also been running a set of Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4's on my 2011 Corvette Grand Sport and these have been phenomenal as well.

Either will do very well on your car.

I have been using these:

Like the OP, I don't drive in the snow but in cold and wet conditions.

These are smooth and quiet tires and have a great on-center feel.

So for those guys running non flats on their cars (Continental or Michelins seems to be the tire of choice for non flat replacement), do you carry a tire repair kit in the trunk? or call AAA? I believe a saw a post on tire repair kits awhile back, so what do you recommend? The little I drive mine, the run flats are a rough ride, but not sure worth replacing.

@Spider-Web... tell us more about that '68 Camaro!

Given your location:

If I were to go all seasons it would be Continental Extreme DWS06.

However in my case, I have 2 sets of wheels. One for winter, and one for summer.

For winter, I have Vredestein Wintrac Pro on the rear, and regular off brand A/S on the front. But given the winters we experience. If you do go with a winter rear tire, be advised, these tires have very soft rubber compound, and you can't put the hammer down on these cars otherwise you will experience rear end sway as if you were on drag slicks. You will notice the rear end sway mostly in temps above 40 degrees F. But you will still experience it even at lower temperatures just maybe not as pronounced.

A/S's you won't experience this.
