My heart breaks too but maybe there's room in the portfolio for a side piece. Muscle cars were never the bread and butter.

Visibility didn't hurt sales from 2010 - 2015. During that time the Camaro was referenced as a transformer, Scott Settlemire engaged with enthusiasts on this forum and overall GM cared about the product.

Sorry not sure what you are saying. GM didn’t ignore the Camaro, they just mad3 bad choices. It was designed for a very small audience with limited appeal. Mustang focused on broad appeal with performance that followed. Which one is getting a next gen?

I don't think that will happen. They are building more high performance cars then just about anyone. GM has a new V8 being built, the Escalade is selling all it can build, the Ct4v and Ct5v are really popular. I just don't see it. I hope your wrong.

I really do feel like they have ignored the Camaro. Dodge has done a lot more to retain peoples attention in a car that rides on an old platform and hasn't changed much since 2008. Apparently it's going away but they've let people know and have a last call edition. I'd be surprised if GM does anything for the Camaro when it goes out of production. Realizing the car didn't appeal to enough people should have spurred them to do something. They didn't because they don't care.

Mustang is to Ford what Corvette is to GM so it means more to them.
