You should have a look at Jannetti's 125-horse package, I think it was. He's got one that adds Flex, and a couple other smaller things, that go toward improving efficiency, without adding boost, and he gets a solid 125-more bald eagles.

Check it out.

Otherwise - there have been guys here, gaining up to around 100-bald eagles at the tires adding E' to their 2650 cars. No change in boost - just adding E'.

Curious question: I have heard to stay away from Flex Fuel by a few shops until doing a fuel system that can really truly handle it. They said it can be safe but it can be on the limit at times when using E. Thoughts?

I can only imagine they said that in context of running straight E85 vs. a blend. They would be correct. With a stock fuel system, we are typically limited to E50-60. Which is not an issue... still makes great power, and burns cleaner. I agree through, that is money were no object, I would upgrade the fuel system to run straight E85...

Are you running E50-60 and what did you have to do to achieve that?

My car makes a little over 90 more whp on ethanol vs 93. Huge difference in the mannerisms of the car at WOT.

The biggest advantage to Ethanol aside from peak gains is that you will make repeatable power. On 93 you can subtract about 50+whp from your best dyno number and that is what the car will make in the real world because it will be pulling timing most of the time to keep from knocking. Ethanol allows full timing even with high manifold air temps.
