It sucks that the oem rings are 80 something per piston or the rings from Mahle to fit are 270 plus
MAHLE 42217CP oem rings 1.2 X 1.5 .2.5 $275 to $296 OEM Rings 12661872 $85.00 ea Rod Bolt 11548432 $4.00 ea A good set of pistons better than oem are 850 with a summit coupon lower, includes HD wrist pins and rings if they were like 2 0r 300 bucks might be able to justify using them in a low power build with some summit rods that fit that unusual .945 wrist pin. size.

I doubt the weight is the same. But if you have a rod scale and it's only a few grams you could grind some with a belt sander. Yes same journal and pin size.
What are you trying to do?
