I guess I'm just lucky; I haven't had anyone trying to race me yet. Of course, maybe if I drove the car daily it would be more likely to happen, but since it's just a weekend toy, and is garaged during winters or bad weather, it doesn't go out much. Still, I'm happy to report that I'm pretty much left alone whenever I'm driving her.

Wah Wah Wah. I hear a lot of complaining. You think you guys have it tough with all the attention your getting.....

I have guys camped out inside my garage waiting to race me down the driveway every time I take her out!

I can’t say in my 2 years I’ve owned my SS, intercooler sounding like it’s sucking the air out of a 20ft circumference ever try and race me.

When I’m out in the chevelle though…. Every new muscle car out their tries to pull up. Demons, hellcats, 5.0’s, Shelby’s, corvettes ss’s and ZL1’s.

It’s like cmon guys. This is from the 70’s. Most of these lucky to come stock with 350hp. Leave me be and let me enjoy the drive.

I’m more curious about the pEople who drive rapid blue or shock yellow. How do they cope with the attention?

The orange gets a fair amount of attention, I have no desire to get a ticket - being in a loud, bright orange camaro and all.

Same way others do. Ignore the would be racers and give a thumbs up back to all those who like the car. Which many people apparently do.

All bright colors will always draw more attention than black/gray/silver, etc.
