Anybody got a good cargo stability solution?

More specifically a way to keep a bag of groceries from sliding around or falling over? Hooks would be nice for plastic bags I guess. Perhaps some kind of netting for paper bags? I've got the little net that secures to the rear end of the trunk but that's almost worthless due to how small it is.

I have been using this trunk organizer from Amazon. It holds 3 bags of groceries, is light, sturdy, and collapsible. It has a no skid bottom. With 3 bags inside, you can move it towards the back of the trunk. Then, you can add 4-5 more bags in the area beneath the trunk opening. Hold those bags in place by moving the organizer against them.

Although this is currently listed as unavailable, Amazon has numerous other organizers. The key attribute is its size of 24" long x 15" tall (with handles) x 12" deep. It fits nicely in the Camaro trunk, fore and aft. I'd buy it again if I needed such a device, and recommend it as an effective, simple, affordable solution.

I have this trunk organizer: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D2BN43Q/

It's used for my helmet and tools for the track, but it'd also be useful for smaller bags of groceries. The main feature is there is velcro on the bottom, so it doesn't slide around. It hooks into the carpet in the trunk.

Buy a vert. There isn't enough room in the trunk for more than two bags of anything! Put a cardboard box that's half the width of the trunk in and a single grocery bag will fit perfectly!

I’m using a soft cooler much like the ones above. My biggest fear is a liquid spill and frying all the electronics in the trunk.

We have these in two cars, and while a little more expensive, works great due to the weighted bottom.

Back in the day the 2SS came with a cargo net. I kept the one from my 2010 to use in my 2013 ZL1 and then retrofitted for my 2017 ZL1 using the process from the link below. If you can acquire a 5th gen net or even a different one, you could probably use this method to make it work.

I adapted a system that I used in my prior vehicle - not pretty, but it works. I use an assortment of low-wall plastic storage boxes like you would find at Target or Walmart. There is a long rectangular "under bed" one against the back seat, a pair of shoebox-style ones up against that (used for cleaning products, towels, and roadside assistance accessories), and then a large rectangular one at the rear bumper that is handy for grocery bags. So basically three rows of storage boxes that fit the front-to-back dimension of the trunk to keep from sliding around. Also, although I didn't have it in mind when I put the setup together, this may provide extra insurance against the fuse box flooding issue that some have experienced.

The downside is that I have to pull these out if I need to fit a suitcase in the trunk. But that isn't a regular need for me, and the bins are a functional addition for my daily-driver sixth gen.
