Granted adding the cable is just easier than crawling around under the car to find and fix the inadequate and/or defective factory ground. This is a known problem for the 2016 SS LT1. Fortunately the issue doesn’t seem to plaque later models.

Yup, worked like a charm. Had to put wheelie bars on my ZLE and now I’m riding in the hybrid lane due to the mileage improvement. LOL

Seriously though, I’m going to become a supporting vendor so I can sell bespoke grounding wires in all sorts of pretty colors.

Topped off my coolant tanks. When I opened my hood to check my oil I noticed that the lower tank had no coolant visible in it. The upper tank was filled almost to the neck. So I added coolant to the lower tank to get it up to the fill mark. The Gen 6 Camaro has an odd coolant reservoir set up.

I had to order a new lower grill and ss emblem cause a road deflector went right through and was actually still sitting in there behind the grill when I looked to see what I hit. Should have kept the damn thing as a souvenir. I’ll be installing it once it arrives and will do the lighted bow tie since whole bumper cover has to come off. Unexpected project

I thought that the lower tank was only for overflow if the motor overheated? That's the way my big truck was set up. It's not supposed to be have fluid unless the motor overheats. Then when it cools down, the closed system sucks the fluid back to the radiator.

Lower tank is supposed to be half full per factory manual. There’s a fill line if you look closely.

That's what the manual says so that’s what I did. Also I looked at a thread here on the forum that says the same thing.

Yeap, lower tank is supposed to be half full, up to the fill line. But again, the level keeps going up and down as you drive the car.

Damn great video willzilla!! That top grill does look like a pain in the ass! I subscribed to your channel to watch the rest of the install, when do you think you’ll be uploading the other parts of the series?
