daylight running light problem
When I was stopped at a light recently, I noticed in the reflection off the rear of the car in front of me that my driver side DRL was out. I brought it to the dealer and they replaced it. However, they should have diagnosed the problem because it is still out when driving. What is interesting is that when I turn the lights from auto to manual, the DRL is on, but it's much brighter than the passenger side.
So it seems to me that the problem has something to do with whatever actually controls the operation of the light. Is there a module that controls how the DRL's operate? Can anyone shed light on this.? Thanks.

The DRL does have a module (see part #4 below), but it comes attached to the light body (part #1), one would think the dealership replaced them as a single assembly. The online parts catalog does say that programming is required for the new module, maybe that's the missing piece?
