ZL1 addons lift pads, which ones?

they have the stealth pad and the non stealth.

Stealth appears to have a flat bottom point of contact on the lift.

Non Stealth appears to have a beveled point of contact for the lift.

????

Stealth pads as they do not hang down as much. Some thread-lock on the set screws on the install.

It is a set of four. I have both the ZL1 and the Amazon version, they are both GTG, purchased the second set as the car has three lift points on each side. I have the regular version and you can't see them unless you're lying on the ground.

I just purchased and installed the 'stealth' version from their shop in Poway yesterday. Says 'Made in USA' on that box.
I prefer the flat bottom of the stealth myself.

He does. Z add-ons got enough of my money. I helped him measure for the CTS-V tow hooks back in 2012 and I’ve dropped $500 with them. He’ll be fine. And yes, my guess is that he’s out sourcing like most manufacturers.

Their website still has this on the product page, guess they lied:

Product Origin:

This product was designed and manufactured from US sourced 6061 billet aluminum and was machined and anodized here in Poway, California. USA.

If I would of known that up front , I would of purchased the Amazon knock offs , 6061 T6 , is all the same. I purchased the tow hook , they say its been load tested to 8k the weight of 2 Camaros ,I hope so.

I bought knock offs for my convertible (sold that car), they didn’t fit for that application. As an FYI, the knock off screws were short and very loose in the threads. The pads seemed pretty darn lightweight. I just bought and installed the Zl1 Addons and they appear to be heavier, but the screws are short as well (the threads were tighter than the knock offs and are a different pitch). Anyway, I changed out the ZL1 stainless allen screws with a batch that I ordered for the original set (didn’t fit the aftermarket’s) The screws are perfect on the ZL1 addons…(just as someone many moons ago had denoted). If someone wants longer / perfect size screws for a ZL1 addons set, send me a PM with an address. I know I have enough for one set, possibly two sets.
