The tread pattern of the tire you pictured is the 220 treadwear Goodyear Supercar 3, not the 100 treadwear Goodyear Supercar 3R. 3Rs do take a lot longer than Supercar 3s to warm up on track. If the pressures you mentioned are for autocross runs, they are not directly applicable to a 20+ minute track session because you would have to start with a much lower initial pressure in order to reach the same hot pressure at the end of a sustained track lapping session.

Having run both 3S and 3R quite a bit, just my quick observations.

- 3S warms up quicker
- 3S gets greasy much faster, but holds pretty steady once it does go off.
- 3S pressure range was 32-33h
- 3S lasts 1.5 times, longer than the 3R
- 3S works better with softer suspension (MagRide)
- 3R takes 2 laps to be able to start putting strong lateral g in
- 3R pressure range was 31-32H
- 3R have much less drop off when hot

You’re right I apologize. I thought the whole time we were referring to the 3s for some reason, hence the confusion with the previous post on the up to temp times.
