Yea, I got it new in 2018 - not really knowing what to expect (1st Audi). I just wanted a quick 4 door car for a daily that would fit my toddlers. I've been blown away with how amazing this car has proven to be. I have a laundry list of mods done at this point. I haven't driven the new model yet, but from reading about the few changes, it looks like you have an awesome car there. If you want to stay relatively simple, I would highly recommend doing midpipes, intake, turbo inlet, intercooler, and a stage 1 tune. That will totally change the car, and should get you into the low 11s with no real compromise in drivability. The above on Ethanol will probably crack high 10s and you'll still have a completely streetable car, but your mpg will take a serious hit, which kinda makes the car less fun, imo.

I also have suspension and brakes done, but I'm not sure how necessary that is on the new models.

ECU not unlocked yet, so need to wait awhile on mods....planning to hold onto your 2018 for awhile?

More on topic, the only attention my ZL1 got was from M drivers (or similar) wanting to roll. Otherwise it was just a Camaro

I always toy with selling it - right now I'd love to get into an m3/m4 or an x3m. They're in the mid 10s with intake/downpipe/tune, which is incredible on a luxury SUV. However, the used market cooling on the rs3 makes me more likely to just keep it. Six months ago, I could have gotten 60k for it, but now it's probably closer to 54ish. Also, I just bought the zl1 in July and still owe on that one. At the end of the day, I have an SC car with a manual, a turbo car, and a fast EV, so I feel like I have the best of all worlds here. I'm pretty content overall

If you haven't already, Join the audizine board and post in the RS3 subforum. There is some good knowledge in there.

M cars are fast in a straight line but kind of sterile to drive and there are soooooo many assholes who drive them - it's not a real sports car in my book and I'm not sure I want to be in their snotty little club, honestly I can't stand most of them, they think their cars are made out of diamonds and it's just laughable

No need to own more than one sports car in my view, you don't have time to drive them anyway

lol I felt like that about Tesla drivers too. But, wife wanted an EV due to her commute plus having free charging at work, so we started really shopping around and comparing. The Tesla was the clear winner (probably why they sell so many of them). Now they're so common around here, no one really pays any attention. We did like the Mustang Mach E GT also, but at that time all the local dealers were out of stock or asking $10k ADM
