LT4 Supercharger install has started.

No turning back now. The build will be a LT4 Supercharger. To complement the supercharger will be LT4 injectors, high and low fuel pumps, boost a pump, flex fuel sensor, soler performance lt5 throttle body, roto fab intake, mighty mouse catch can, borla 2nd cat delete cat back system, PLM's biggest heat exchanger, whipples storage tank.

When you say low side, you are referring to the aux pump? Just asking and someone else can chime in, if you are doing the Aux pump, you shouldn't need to do the boost a pump right? Awesome build though, you will definitely love it when its all done.

The intank pump is what I am referring to when I say low side. According to Andy at ADM he suggest both and with the amount of kits he has done I went with his suggestion.

Be aware that the Convertible has a different in-tank pump setup than the SS Coupe. There was a guy who posted about it from his SS vert project here in the forum.

Yep, I am aware. Requires the addition of in tank fuel lines and a different pick up that has to be added. Thanks for double checking. Worried i have missed something and will have to wait forever for it.

Yep that is what i have, i have a post somewhere with all the part number required to help others....... this has been a 3 year research, gather parts and finally install. Wait led till powertrain is up. Doesnt expire till april but wont drive during the winter. Sad part is had it torn all apart when i noticed the tensioner was leaking. Doubtful they would warrant the repair and not worth putting back together for the $52 part.

If anyone plans on doing an lt4 kit i would highly suggest an upgraded heat exchanger and brackets. The part numbers are 23455459 and 23455460

Nice build and good pics, looks like you have it all covered. Now would be perfect time to do port injection, you could probably get by without doing the low side in tank pump depending on the amount of boost you want to run. Just a thought.

Thanks, not looking to go crazy. Always wanted a supercharger on a car so i figuered hey why not. Doing the in tank as i already have the parts and not afarid of a little extra work. Beside will be back their adding the ZL1 sway bars.

Getting the harmonic balancer was a breeze and from posts i have read everyone said that was the most difficult. Almost make me want to tackle the cam...... almost was the key word.

More to come as i do more just wanted to get last minute parts ordered during these awesome black friday deals.

I agree, the stock HX suck, upgrading the main one is a no brainer as is a 2 gallon fender expansion tank while the car is taken apart.
