I am new to the forum and happy to be here. I have a 2023 Shadow Grey Manual ZL1 on order. Really wanted to get a sunroof and red seatbelts, but unfortunately there were order restrictions on options and could only get a carbon fiber hood insert. It is currently built and awaiting arrival to the dealership. Will be picking it up in the spring, to avoid driving it in the winter time on a salty road.

I am able to get employee pricing through my uncle and I wanted to ask a couple of questions to anyone that has an experience with getting a ZL1 through employee pricing in Canada.

Unfortunately our Canadian GM family first build and price tool does not give us the pricing like the USA version. I was wondering if anyone had a rough idea of a discount percentage or discount amount to expect off the msrp of the car. The msrp is just shy of 80k for this car including delivery.

I was wondering if the Canadian GMS plan also had a cap on the amount that could be charged for the documentation fee? I seen in some forums that it is capped at $75 and I was wondering if this applied here in Canada as well. I once got a quote on a truck with this pricing and there was also a charge for a plan fee of $150, is this an actual charge?

If anyone has any tips or extras to add beyond the questions I asked regarding the employee pricing, it would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like around 7.4% off MSRP. No idea on limitations for dealer fees. I could only find 2 dealers in the US willing to take GMS and no guarantee they would be able to get it built. Ended up buying a 1 year old CPO with all the options I wanted for $71K. 2021 ZL1 1LE w/ 6K miles, B2B until 9/25 and 48K miles.
