For playing music from a cell phone, the Bose system in the ZL1 does a pretty good job in my opinion. And to be honest, I'm glad Chevy didn't go overboard with the audio system in the ZL1. High-end car audio is not the focus of the ZL1.

No matter how much money you throw at the ZL1 audio system, someone, somewhere will still have a bigger, louder audio system in their car.

Sure... 1500 option for harman kardon with real subwoofer would please some part of the buyers, including me. This bose system is good for radio stations, not playin from phone. Why you even bringing this up? Clipping in OEM system is way worse than quality of compressed music from Android Auto.

Pass on that for me. The audio is good to me and I listen to audio from my phone pretty much all the time. The car doesn't have a lot of sound deadening so that'll make it sound like crap while driving.

Compared to the system in my RAM, the ZL1 system is crap but that's not the point of the ZL1 as I said and hawk did. Compared to the one that was in my Silverado, the ZL1 is way better.

While we all have our different tastes in what we want from a car. If someone wanted a car with a great system from the factory while having a lot of power, then a Hellcat would suit that need. Fast in a straight line and comes with a factory option for alot better sound system.

People complaining about the ZL1 is a good example of not being able to please everyone. The stereo sounds very good it just doesn't have a lot of bass. Put a sub in the trunk ya crybabies.

I think it’s a decent system and I don’t have any intention of changing anything in it. Normally, I change speakers but the Bose system has made this a difficult upgrade.

I’d rather just listen to the exhaust and V8 with the XM playing in the background.

I'm not blown away by the Bose sound system either, but come on guys, this is a sports car and a Camaro at that, it's pretty good overall.

Far as I'm concerned, it doesn't even get turned on and I just listen to the LT1 and the Maggie whenever I want to have fun with the car... this system is more than sufficient for satellite radio or music from an SD card, via USB or bluetooth.

Now, would it be nice to be able to option in a Burmeister for $4-5k extra, sure, but I'm afraid sales wouldn't be spectacular for such an RPO.

It's a 70k car, with big engine, good handling, having heated, ventilated seats STANDARD, but no, its meant to be soundless sports car
Imagine some likes Camaro power, handling, looks AND likes good music. Why so hateful?

Hateful? Who or what is hateful here? The Bose sound system works and is just fair in terms of sound quality, which is okay, because the preferences of many aren't focused on the sound system in a supercharged V8 car. That's all, zero hate or even emotion involved.
