Thanks for the information. I haven't seen those before. They look comfortable.

I love those. Chris Harris recommended them on Twitter and he nailed it.

These were delivered today. Latest Piloti driving shoes. I will provide some feedback on them once I can try them out.

Please pardon my ignorance, but what makes these shoes "driving" per se? They look pretty normal to me, inside and outside, just a casual flat sole pair. Is it the material for the sole or the upper, or...?

It's the sole primarily. As you mentioned the sole is flat, but the heel is rounded in order to make heel toe downshifting easier and the soles come up the sides more than on most other shoes in order to provide more grip on the pedals when using the sides of your foot. These are all subtle things, but they add up to make three pedal driving easier.

Keep in mind that these are not racing shoes like a race car driver uses, but driving shoes to enhance the driving experience, especially for manal transmission cars.

Here are some better pictures of the rounded heels on the shoes. The other pictures that I posted don't really show the heel.

LOL! That is too funny. I did try mine on and they are pretty comfortable. I haven't tried them in the Camaro yet though.

I'd love to get a proper pair of driving shoes, but I have wide feet and have been unable to find any company that makes such shoes in wide sizes.

What I've been using since getting the Camaro is a pair of flat bottom, thin-soled shoes that (I believe) are actually water shoes to be used when at the beach. They're actually very comfortable for driving, and I think I paid something like $20 for them.

Vans or Converse are good, but frankly the best is whatever you use a lot and are comfortable with. I will say though with the active rev match feature I find the footwork in this car to be a non issue unless you have it turned off.
