Vans or Chucks, Puma Speedcat, Piloti are all good choices for casual use. I have a pair of Piloti, they are often on sale for around 30% off, they have a thin flat sole and rounded heel. Modern running/walking shoes with thick, soft foam midsoles are too soft.

Thanks. I have several pairs of Pilotis and they are pretty good for driving, but not too good for everyday walking/standing. I also have a pair of Pumas that I purchased when I had a BMW, but they are too narrow for my liking.

I just saw a set of low top Simpsons on eBay that look pretty good and aren't that expensive. I might have to give them a try.

I have heard Vans are good for the price. I would hate to order 175 dollar shoes that dont fit.

Its a summer only car, so im usually in flip flops. Cant drive in them so i slide them off and go barefoot. Thats my favorite way.
