Went to a cool cruise in yesterday. Blew some minds

I belong to drag racing organization called Midwest Drag Racing Events, buy sell, etc. They had a final cruise at a local Oreilly's in Wentzville Mo. I know a few members were there, Tim Tosto with his Twin Turbo Gen6, Ray with his 16 SS with a Whipple SC and a 150 other cars/trucks/race cars and a Pro Mod. Nice sunny day, lots of gear heads asking questions about the Camaro. Drove the Camaro 220 miles round trip on the current 707 tune on my Nitto 555r2s, got 21 mpg at 80 mph on E85. Tune is really great for cruising and of course drag racing. Lots of people questioned how we could run in the 9s on so few of mods. Introduced lots of them to the toohighpsi Port Injection which most people didn't even know you could do with Direct Injection. Of course I had the deniers that it couldn't run that fast and then you show them the time slip and the video I have on my phone and they are believers after that. If you live in the St Louis area you should check them out next year and if your a drag racer keep up with their events on Facebook, come drag racing and cruising next year, you'll like it.

Sounds like a great fall event. Maybe THPSI will toss you a sponsorship in the spring.

Well lets just say we are working on it and I promise you Mike has done a whole lot to make this happen for both of us. First down the track with the Reflex and stock fuel system and run 10.30s, then in the 9s with just a pulley change, more tuning and drag pack. Lots planned but we are still 7 months away but we'll be ready to race no matter what. But it was just nice not drag racing but hanging out with most that have been down the track a few times and understand what it even takes to go 9s on a stock Lt1 at basically full weight. Proud, proud and proud.

That was the last one of the year. Just join the deal on FB and you can keep up with the drag racing, cruises and car shows. Be glad to talk to you any time. Got all winter to do some planning. Let me know.
