All points highlighted in yellow on this post. Recommended to use a jack on the "middle" point to lift the whole side of the car then put jack stands on the front and rear then repeat on the opposite side.

I don’t wish to use sill Jack points, just rear middle Jack points
And front middle jack point ( it’s a convertible) if that makes A difference? |

On the vert, you have the X-brace that occupies two of the three green locations in the above pic. But you can jack the car at the available pinch weld slot just next to the front X-brace bracket. Put the jack stand(s) under the X-brace brackets. They're quite stout.

I never use the jack points. I you notice on the front brace there is a bolt just in front of the jacking point on the picture, that's where I put my little aluminum floor jack. Then there is a brace in the rear just inside the jacking points and in the rear I slide my floor jack under the spring coil spring perch and that way it jacks up much quick and your not lifting the whole side of the car up. When I'm switching out to my drag pack I use two of the small jack and lift just the rear to swap out to the slicks and then go to each side for the front.

Thx gunkk, I figured as much, although I’ve seen YouTube vids of

Just do one side at a time. It only takes a minute.

There is zero risk using the pinch weld jack points. That's what they are designed for. Just get a quality lift pad or puck. ZL1addons or the QuickJack pads.

I use a cheap pinch weld puck I bought off Amazon and it works great! Get 4 pinch weld jack stand adaptors too. They come in handy.

I don't have a ZL1, but the jacking points should be the same as an SS...
Hope this helps someone!

2SS, I have the same lift, it’s a PIA to set up
But works great, I use the rubber pads that It came with, didn’t realize there’s enough Room in the garage to lift car without hood Hitting ceiling |
