Added some coolant to that second reservoir, yesterday and did a quick detail.

Main project for today was swapping in Powerstop pads for the Brembos. Will do the bedding procedure in the morning.

While I had the front wheels off the ground, I added SlipLo rubber scrape guards under the front bumper. Probably overkill, because my Sho-N-Sto plate mount should catch a steep driveway first.

I also deep cleaned the front wheels and am looking forward to the reduced brake dust!

Finally, during the other projects I noted that the coolant was down so I grabbed some Prestone dexcool tonight and filled the lower tank. This prompted me to finally add a coolant fill line that is actually visible - something I had been thinking about with my 2016 but never did. It may not be pretty, but it works!

Took it out for a Camaros & Coffee meet, followed by a backroads run ending up at Del Mar Racetrack for a Toys for Tots event...

Had a great turnout at the Camaro Club of San Diego 2022 Turkey Trot, had 15 Camaros total (only 14 pictured, missing a 5th Gen)... Great time and brought a lot of great toys for the Toys for Tots fund raiser!

Yes, unfortunately I won't see that here until spring next year. I hate the heat, so I deal with the winter here, but I could never deal with the heat in a lot of those southern states where this time of the year is finally tollerable for them to get outside.

I saw a lot of families move into Florida and leave within a couple of years. They would wilt in the summer heat and humidity. Too many come down in the winter when it was chilly for us and think that the summer temps wouldn't be a big deal. I'm built for the heat and I'm miserable being in Michigan for 7 or 8 months a year. I keep the a/c in the house set at 78° during the summer and I'm windows down driving around.

I hate the heat too, and the older I get the more I hate it. It's hot and humid here in the summer, but at least we have four real seasons. The fall is definitely our best time of year, but by the end of November here it starts to get cooler. It was mid 40s and cloudy here yesterday.

I couldn't live in Florida for half the year. Way to hot and humid. I've visited in January and February and that's my kind of weather. I've also spent a week near Gainesville in August and it's miserable. I don't know how people stand it. It makes August here seem bearable.
