Got the ZL1 back from the wrap place. Pics!!

I didnt get home in time to get some pics in the bright sun. That makes a HUGE difference in how it looks. Here it is in my shaded driveway. I'll update tomorrow (pending a rain storm...) if I can get some better pics in the full sun. On edit - It won't let me attach .heic files, only the 2 jpegs from my iphone's camera. So these are the only 2 pics I can get up at the moment anyway.

Thanks. It's called Hidden Forest. I chose it because I had a 96 Mystic Cobra 20 years ago, and then got a 2003 Cobra. That one was mineral grey, but in 04 Ford brought back the Mystic paint for one year. I always wanted an 04 Mystichrome cobra, but never got one. Fast forward to this year...I realized I could have the car I'd rather have (zl1) but thanks to the miracle of vehicle wraps, I could just get it wrapped to look like the Mystic Cobras.

I think that’s a fantastic reason to get that color, and especially with the sun on it!. The fastest I had ever been in a car was a mid 2000s cobra. I was probably 10 and my mother let me ride with her friend who took us like 130 down a back road. That was basically my only car experience until I decided to up and join the club a couple years ago �� I will always love the terminator cobra for that and just because they are awesome lol

Yea, they were amazing at that time. I had mine up to 501rwhp, and when I would tell people the car was making close to 600hp they couldn't believe it. 18 years later and people are driving 3300hp lambos and vipers

Nah, Shadow Gray Metallic definitely has a LOT of blue in it, not green...

I got in to the muscle car scene just before these cobroas were released, bought a used '96 Z28 my senior year in high school circa '99. I can remember these cobras very well, the paint seemed so cutting edge back then.

I managed to take it out this morning before the rain came in. I was driving through the Safeway parking lot, and a group of elderly folks were standing in front. I stopped to let a car back out and I heard one of them yell, "Ohhh look at that pretty green car!" Then as I started to drive away, one yelled out, "Hey, it's changing to purple!! How do they do that?!"

Looks amazing. I really wanted a VOM ZL1, but I've been thinking with so many Rapid Blue and White ZL1's out there, just getting one of those and wrapping it?

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? (Can PM me amount if you don't want to put out there).

Did you have it ceramic coated after?
