Take a real close look at a 18 and a 19 side by side. Consider how much re - engineering Camaro would do on this refresh may indicate how much they actually changed. I would tend to think the 2019 hood is a bolt on for the earlier cars.

No doubt it will bolt up, the problem I mentioned is with the front bumper lines. The 19's seem to have a much sharper angle built into the front bumper that lines up to flow with the new style hood. Maybe (hopefully) Im wrong..

Yes, the lines would probably line up at the hood, but the earlier car bumper cover lines are straighter as they come down to the grille.

Would love to see closer pictures of the front of hood and bumper line alignment. The pics don’t show the details.

From what’s shown it looks really good

If you can't see it here... I'll take another pic later when the sun moves off the front of the car.

Thanks for the pic.

You are right, the white is causing the lines to get lost. Maybe a shot from the side with the light behind the camera?

It's still really hard to see.. I don't know why this site flips the pic upside down.

Nitro, very difficult to see the lines... Are you happy with it? It looks like hood might be raised a bit where the hood meets to nose in the center.... Am I off base here?

This is perfect, and illustrates the lines really well. Thank you.

Unfortunately it does show the lines in the middle on the 19 hood do not match up with the 16-18 bumper cover. Everything else does line up.

I'm totally happy with it.

The hood needs to be aligned, I just laid it on to make sure everything is OK before I get it wrapped.

I agree, it looks great. Between the matte black hood wrap and the shiny white paint, it blends nicely. Only, a person in the “know” would notice.

I think it looks a lot more aggressive. If I hadn't read this thread, I would of never noticed the little differences with the body lines. LOL
