LT4 supercharger conversion LT1

Hi,

I will do a LT4 supercharger conversion to my LT1.

As I'm from Germany and here are no GM dealers, I want to get really sure of which parts to use and order them.
Because when I stand in front of the car and everything is devided into parts, I will not able to get any parts in the next days.

And on top of that - you might guess - english is not my mother-tongue.

Therefore I've got a few questions.

Do somebody know the differences in these sets or can recommend one of these?

DOD Delete will also be made. Which shop you can recommend? LSX? Texas Speed? And also which LS7 Style Lifters? Delphi? Do you got a partnumber?
Do I need the plugs supplied in these kits or is the LT4 valley cover (included in both kits above) already closed and I don't need them anymore?

I read about rocker arm trunnion upgrades (comp cams 13702). Is it recommended to do when the engine is opened? If yes, also recommendations? Do the bolts supplied with the kits fit or do I need Arp 234-7208?

Because it's a daily driver I don't want to go crazy. I only want to buy a "simple" cam. I always read about GM 12664572 (LT5) and GM 12672469 (L8T).
Where are the differences and which one is recommended?

Do you have any other parts, tips, recommendations or alternatives to mention? Or partnumbers to buy them individual without a kit?

Most likely from rockauto.com, there are no problems with shipping to Germany.
Or most parts from the same shop, because shipping costs and import taxes will be high. Probably some shops who wont keep an good eye on the declaration

Thank you

The ADM kit is proven and has been used many times. I am not sure about the Western Michigan kit...it might be the same. I do know ADM use to be a sponsor and provided good support.

DOD plugs work fine. Stock rocker arms are fine as is with a stock cam. Delphi lifters should be ok too.

The LT5 cam is the same specs as the LT1 minus the DOD/AFM lobes. The L8T cam is smaller so I wouldn't go that route. Also, if you are going that far into the engine you might as well do drop in rods/pistons with lower compression...especially if you plan on running pump gas.

I would also purchase the LT4 high side fuel system and a JMS booster for the low side.

Thank you KingLT1.

I already had contact with ADM - awesome support!

Okay, then I'll get the LT5 cam.

I already thought about getting new rods/pistons, but the parts are way too expensive to import them from the US, too.
Here in Germany you are unable to get all these parts.

So probably I'll have to stay at a max of 600-650hp. Then LT4 high side fuel system and a JMS booster for the low side is not needed as I heard.

A friend of me got his Camaro cammed and it's running like nuts. We don't know wether it'S normal or it is just a bad tune.
He has to take his car into neutral on red traffic lights, otherwise the engine stops running sometimes.
Therefore I stopped thinking about a more aggressive cam. But I like the sound and hp getting from them.

Maybe somebody is here who can check the hptuners file?

There is a German member here (Tim M) who blew up his LT1 with a LT4 blower. You may want to read his posts. Also, King forgot to mention you will need high octane fuel. Pump gas on a supercharged stock LT1 is a bad idea. Many people who supercharged their LT1 have hurt their engine because they tried using pump gas which does not contain sufficient octane.

If it's too expensive I wouldn't worry about deleting dod or opening the motor up. Spend the money on fueling upgrades in order to run Ethanol fuel.
