What is this

So after doing a post track day inspection I found some fluid and it appears to be leaking from this piston looking item. It is just below the idler pulley but not sure what it is. My warranty is up in December so I am looking for some help to see if this a concern or just normal.

Thanks

The piston is connected to the idler pulley? I thought it looked like it but could not get a good view from above to say for sure? And I thought that seems way more complicated than the typical belt tensioner, but maybe.

Is the fluid oil or antifreeze? I don’t see any fluid in your photo.

Mine did the same thing, little bit of weeping out of the seal. I've heard the inside seal can get damaged easily.

Agreed. I suggest taking it in for warranty repair.
