Some cars require stripes or other adornment to enhance their looks, but IMHO the 5th and 6th Gen Camaros don't necessarily. Their styling is strong enuff to stand alone.
This opinion was recently reinforced when I saw a plain silver 5th gen rolling down the road. I had test driven a similar car in 2010 and thought "Why are they giving me this plain Jane (sorry all you beautiful Jane's out there!) base car to test drive? Give me something exciting to drive."

Now with some time I realize it doesn't need it. Car looks marvelous as is. But these days you can have your cake and eat it too thanks to the newer vinyl graphics you can get cheaply from vendors like BigWorm graphix. 37 choices for 2016-2018 models and 27 more just for the 2019-present cars.

All of them cheap easy to install yourself or remove if you decide you don't want it after all, and most of the factory designs (and many more that are not) are available.

So stand back and take your time. No need to decide when you're ordering it (except for the few exceptions only available thru the factory). I'm thinking the only potential issue to this course of action is if you leave your vinyl on too long, there may be visible lines where the paint has had UV exposure and could fade noticeably when the previously covered paint gets exposed.

Full disclosure- my 2010 and now 2017 cars both have stripes- LOL. There is no wrong answer- it's a Camaro!

While it's your car, I would say that stripes are never the answer.

If I just had to have stripes, they wouldn't be stickers. I'd have them painted and cleared so there's no edge. My orange 69 above was painted and cleared.

Thanks for this reference. They sell pinstripe only which is what I feel the frally stripes are missing from the factory! I've been hoping to find something like this! And really, I should have just omitted the stripes from GM and went with a different style like those listed on that site.

The outside black stripes with red hash marks looks the coolest to me. The red works well with the LT1 badge and optional red brake calipers. That, or the 1LE black hood.

Great color though.

Since you're asking, I think you're better off getting them.
You won't regret it but will always wonder if you should have.
I really liked them on my 69's but I think the gen6 looks good either way.

It was when I checked earlier today. It’s in the wheel section.
