It's amazing how trends come and go. I haven't had louvers on a car since my 1985 Dodge Daytona. I guess they must be making a comeback.

Although the styling of the sixth gen itself is a throwback...

I'd install a nice set of aluminum rear-window louvers in a heartbeat (and tried to order an apparent vaporware set that appeared in a CARiD video on youtube). There was a nice rounded-off aluminum set for the fifth gen but those never came over to the sixth gen. I am not a fan of the zig-zag styling of the plastic rear louvers, which is why I have not gone with any of those.

As to what I have done to my car lately, I "rebadged" the rear RS emblem and replaced the one on the front grille with a matching black and chrome emblem. I found these reasonably-priced on Amazon, thanks to a tip from a forum thread!

SPL traction bars, trailing arm, toe arms, upper control arms. H&R springs, BMR cradle lockout and front cradle brace arms. Ride height trim relearn and alignment. Headers are getting the wideband bung welded and taking them to the coaters. Prepping for it's first track day tomorrow. Oil and diff change.

Well the install is designed to not make you drill into anything or make any new holes. There is a bracket piece that holds the guard to the body (as you see in that video). On the back there are three holes in the wheel well cover that can be dual purposed. In the front, there are no additional holes, so rivets are kind of the only way to make that installation work. It really was super easy and the rivet gun was a whole $20.

installed my Aluminum pedals, Alcantara knee pads and the carbon shifter cap.
Finally all came in at the dealer after 2weeks. The shifter cap was what took the longest to come in.

Decided to see if the top works. Didn't mess with it the day I picked it up and then I had the windows tinted which meant the windows had to stay up. Anyway it works....what a surprise.

It was your thread that clued me in to these. I guess we'll find out about their longevity the hard way, but they look good so far!

Did a wheels off cleaning of my wheels followed by ceramic coating the wheels. I used Gyeon Quartz Ceramic Rim Coating. Pretty easy to apply. The hardest part is removing the wheels as I did it with a jack in my driveway.

Here is a picture of the finished product.
