Thanks for the information on the brake dust on the copper free brakes. I'm surprised, but I guess I shouldn't be since the pads are still performance pads.

And they sure do look awesome. Reminds me of the brakes you see on newer high performance 911s. They fill up most of the inside of the wheel.

The copper free upgrade on the SS 1LE is not just a front brake package upsize. The rear brakes are essentially the ZL1 rear brakes. So all four corners get an upgrade.

Picked up a 2023 1SS 1LE M6 That i found which was in transit a few weeks ago at a dealer about 90 miles away from me . I was going to order the same exact car a few weeks ago but got lucky and found this one which was unspoken for

Congratulations! In the current market finding an unclaimed car in transit is the fastest way to get a new 1LE. So you definitely lucked out finding one, let alone one that was ordered exactly the way you wanted it.

My 1LE was an in transit vehicle too. Although I had to wait a month for it to arrive.

I cant understand how people are paying over msrp for their cars. I found a 2022 1 SS 1LE with less than a thousand miles and they wanted 4k over the original msrp. I laughed in the salesmans face. The manager claimed to have paid over msrp for it at a auction , i told him that probably wasnt a good move as this was over 6 weeks ago and the car is still on their lot
