Thanks Nightowl, Matt is an ASE tech and we've already been thru this with the old motor and the new motor, everything is new, pump, tension, chain. Its bleeding off someplace and I'll find it, may have to pull the motor back out but I'll get there.

Blower is ready to come off this morning so we'll have it up and running this weekend. Hopefully with better oil pressure if there is a problem with the dod plugs. Fingers crossed

They were sticking up some so I drove them in further to level them with the surface. Got the valley cover and Livernois plate installed with the o rings yesterday and finish it this afternoon. I have my doubts this is the issue but its a pretty easy way to check as its doesn't take that love to get the blower off. Would have finished it yesterday but had company.

Everything is back together just waiting on some new intercooler hoses from our Magnuson home office in Ventura and then I'll finish it and fire it. I'd like to see 30-35 psi on start up and not 20 to 22 as we had before. I will know for sure if I had a leaking dod delete plug if the Livernois plate with the o rings works. If not the motor is coming out this week and I'm gonna be really bummed out. Probably no racing in March if that's the case or April, who knows right now.

Turned out perfect, oil pressure was back to normal at about 35 to 40 at idle. I don't have my old red anymore but that fixed it as I stated in the post. Geezzz I'd forgotten all about that issue but should be something everyone looks out for when they are doing the dod delete kit.

That sucks... just to confirm, the issue was the DoD plugs? and a upgraded valley cover with o-rings fixed it?
I just purchased the TSP cast cover for this reason... cant wait to get my motor back together... and will be paying close attention to the oil pressure for sure.
