Catch cans on LT-4

I just purchased a catch can from ADD-W1. For install you have to take the supercharger apart. I'm pretty mechanical, I don't think I want to take my supercharger off to install the catch can. Are there other cans that you don't have to disassemble the supercharger? Thanks Steve

By the way quality is 1st class on this product.

Pretty sure you have to at least raise it up to get to the crankcase vent for any of them

This, and make sure you have a few extra SC bolts available, because it's very easy to break them, particularly the ones near the firewall. I'm sure there are a few forum members with extras

Buy the replacement kit which comes with the gaskets and bolts. The bolts are stretch, single use.

Something about breaking the seal on the intakes and expect that seal to do its job when you go back and set it back in place….gaskets …to me, seem like one use only

Yes, you need to raise / remove the blower...
Not hard, a little messy, use this Super Charger Bolt Kit #12679527
And be prepared to burp the coolant system. If it were me, id add an expansion tank at the same time.

Socal, thats probably the best looking engine Ive seen. What heads, valve covers, coil packs and relocation kit do you have?

Redwing, I also have the MightyMouse Wild Catch Can and expansion tank, but mine is mounted off shock tower brace area.

Got a question for those that have one.

I just got a MM wild can installed when I did a pulley upgrade. tthey did a great job on the install. My question is, is there a way to visually check the can and if there is anything in there? Like can I take the vent on the top off? Or is the only option to just open the drain valve and see what comes out.

Not really. They are very squishy and soft and rest in grooves. Assuming one is doing it on a fairly new engine, you are just lifting the front of the blower a couple of inches, then setting it back down after changing out the PCV valve.

I was super paranoid about the possibility of pinching or moving one of them, but in practice, it was easy.

There is a sight glass on the side. Empty when you observe fluid appearing in the sight glass.
