-2f/1.5r is a good start.

Pick up a cheap laser thermometer. After each run, scan the left/center/right of each tire. That’ll inform if you need more/less air and more/less camber. Adjust accordingly.

Hope that makes sense.

Track Racing My ZL1

Stephen12ZL1,

Oh yeah my thoughts exactly,

I used to drive my 2020 Mustang GT on edge for a couple a years.
I had a couple of off tracks (No damage ).
Mostly in the beginner groups and intermediate.

I researched the Camaro for a couple of years and discovered the car had an Alpha Chassis (great track car) above and beyond the Ford Mustangs.
Some of the advanced groups were running the Camaro SS 1LE.
The Camaro is disappearing after 2023 .
The motor on the ZL1 is solid on the track.
Some motor issues on the 1LE but still one of the best cars for the track for the money above all cars around the world.

So do I want that much power 650/650 (ZL1) coming out of turns and flying down straights at 150 plus mph (death trap). Or do I want something like my old Mustang, just a better handling car 455/455 (SS 1LE).

In the end, I decided the ZL1 makes a great daily driver/drag car/track car for the money.

I just have to remember, at the track to treat the throttle like its an egg and use the nannies until I can get comfortable without them in the turns.

Hopefully I will keep this car in one piece after every track event!
