At least they could give us a final sendoff edition. Not quite Dodge style, but maybe a single all-in trim.

The Camaro as we know it will probably never return, I hope there still are people with balls in the company to push this final edition through.

I hope so because bright yellow rocks in Z trim! It would be considerate of them to at least tell us one way or the other!

Trying to find or order a 23’ that checks most of the boxes seems like a waste of time at this point.

Lol, it’s an interesting business model. They’re basically serving only the EPA with some of these investment decisions. I wonder if the dealer network ever organized/ lobbied the automakers vs. the carbon shakedowns, ‘gas guzzler’ luxury tax, etc. Seems like they should provide some counterweight to government regulators… They are there to represent our desires, or at least they should be. It’s not like people that own these large businesses lack resources.

Some of these dealers with decent Camaro volume are going to suffer bigly. I agree with the previous poster that the dealership model is total and complete GARBAGE. If it wasn’t, I could walk into my tiny local dealer and order whatever is currently being produced at MSRP. That revenue then allows my tiny dealership to expand and hire more people locally, so you can buy from someone you know. Lord knows that hasn’t been the case for along time.

If they're still building the CR4 and CT5 for 2024, then I suspect they will also have a '24 Camaro. I'm sure they have multiple production lines and could be building out the final 24's on one/some and converting others to build the new Cadillac model.

One assembly line and the Camaros and Cadillacs are both built on it in random order.

Whether it’s separate lines or not, this makes sense. I hate to wait and miss the ship entirely, but I really, really want a ZL1 in bright yellow. I’m trying to get a black 1SS1LE on order as a fallback, but I only have room for one car.

That part of the decision has probably already been made. At the end of the day it's a question of when will the Lansing Grand River plant be converted to a Factory Zero. Start there and work your way backward to the close date. So GM has to know by now what the no foolin' you can't go backward from here date is. Do not expect it to be publicly announced until that last possible moment. There is absolutely zero incentive for announcing it unless there actually is a sunset model.

Very much not likely that GM will build an EV based CT4/5 and ICE based Camaro under the same roof, no matter how many assembly lines they can fit. Each EV plant is being rolled out as a Factory Zero, meaning the factory operations will have a net zero carbon emissions impact. They are not going to jeopardize a Factory Zero standing just for the ability to screw together a few hundred extra Camaros.

I'm going with this scenario....a 2024 Commemorative Edition....I don't think they'll be totally indifferent to acknowledging the end of the ICE Camaro. We'll know soon enough.

Would be nice, these days it hard to predict anything it seems. They can't keep production up on the 23....unless some of part suppliers start getting them the items they need, I think the 23 may be last.

It's not going be like 2002 when they were simply phasing out one ICE model for another, they are under immense pressure to go green. Just can't see them throwing another year of production on an underperforming brand when they are going fleet zero emissions in twelve years.

I can see 2023 the last year mainly due to all the constraints, and then in January announce the final editions for 2023, maybe even extended the model year till September 2023.

Logic and common sense do not dictate corporate decisions, but neither does respect of traditions or history. Let's hope there is (was) enough clout behind creative rebels within the gates to push through a sendoff edition with actual (powertrain, not mere decal and vinyl) changes.
