Is this a function of the x-port work? I thought these blowers typically produce a flat boost curve? I have no baseline pull. A stock, manual zl1 produced 540whp on this dyno, I’m told. My car is an auto.
Good call to get the Stage X while you are in there. Add a fuel system and flex fuel for another ~100whp.

Evidently you didn't read my post either. lol

Let's try again.

JasonD hit me up back in May about help with tuning after he took it to this shop in the original post. So I helped him retune it on E and trans tuning. He added a flex fuel sensor and went back to a 2.5 pulley. It's on E50 @ 12psi commanding .83 with 23-24 degrees of timing. According to Hpt log we picked up about 80hp at the crank with less boost and E.

Not to derail the topic, but harkening back to another fun debate from a few weeks ago: the above timing is what I would expect to see with E, not the 29 or 30 degrees that some are running. Anyway, it's nice to feel halfway validated that you don't need 28-30 degrees of timing on every car to pick up power on E. I've always thought approaching 30 on these cars (and the LS stuff) was in the "beat the bearings to death" range. Again, I don't have a ton of experience on the LT platform yet, but I know King does. So, just nice to see that he landed where I would think one would land with respect to timing on E.

...Back to X-port discussion.. Pardon the diversion..

Without additional cooling capacity, virtually guaranteed to overheat at the track. Any track.

You mean me ??
Unfortunately, I haven't been on dyno it
I know it's are dumb from me but I have log it stock with stock tune and log with kong ported supercharger and stock tune

I'm waiting for me coated headers from the USA it feels like 1000 years.
If headers done I let it tune on dyno by cn cobra in germany or maybe remote tune in usa by any hp tuners freak 😜

Thanks! Yeah, I don't run them that aggressive. I know Brett @ Pray Performance has picked up power running less then stock timing. GM actually sets these cars up with very aggressive timing tables and relies heavily on the knock sensors to keep them alive.

Seems like a risky gamble if a knock sensor should ever fail.

My car is running well, thanks to King. I haven’t had it back on the dyno, yet. In the spring, with the 2.3” upper pulley, it ran a 7.37s 60-130. DA was 500. A couple days ago, on E48 and a 2.5” pulley, it ran 7.35s 60-130. DA was 2400.
