Great idea, the only red on my entire car is the two SS emblems.

Unfortunately my rear bumper emblem was missing so I don't have any reference point. Grill emblem is there, no rear bumper emblem. Mine are/were gray likely due to orange paint.

Would appreciate some measurements next time you're in the garage!

Put the car cover on it, heading to Puerto Vallarta for a work trip so won't be driving it for a week or so... No miles and Margaritas!

Did this 4 weeks ago. Work trip offshore Angola. Hopefully I'll be heading back soon. Only had 4 days with it.

Got into it manually... lol. Learned something new today. Guess the battery in my fob died. I didn't know the cup holder is a "transmitter pocket". Learned that today too. Man, I would have expected the battery in the fob to last at least a year. I change the batteries in all my fobs every Jan. Never had one die on me. First time for everything I guess.

Had some stuff done about two weeks ago. Had a friend come out to the house, did a full wash, cut, polish and buff. Then Ceramic coated the whole car. Looks fantastic now and fixed 99% of the problems the douchenozzles at the dealer caused with the paint finish.

Also took off the (IMO) garish LT1 emblems and put some beautiful black 6.2L emblems from a Silverado blackout kit. They fit perfectly, contours and all.

Sorry not sorry for the photos

Thanks! I feel like they fit the overall look a lot better since it's black with black wheels and black interior. Chrome and red badges? No thanks, sticks out too much.

I think an LT1 is meant to blend in, be that croc in the water amidst the logs waiting for a lone Mustang to think it's safe.
