Unusual for a flow formed wheel to be lighter than a fully forged wheel. Especially if they are the same size.

Count me as another vote for Apex. I have the SM-10 and the VS-5RS. They are excellent.

Surprised no one has mentioned HRE Flowform wheels. I have FF04s on my ZL1 and FF11s on my Corvette. They're reasonably priced. Save a little weight over the stock wheels. The finish is excellent. They come in two standard finishes, liquid metal and tarmac (satin black), but there is an option for custom colors. Oh, and they're a heck of a lot easier to clean.

Here are the FF11 and FF04 in liquid metal on the ZL1.

I'm of the mind that if you're going to swap out to another wheel, it should be a better quality wheel or a lighter wheel (both if you can manage it). Savini's have never been on my radar but, I have had some BC Forged wheels and their counterpart, Signature Wheels. They're great entry-level forged wheels with some high quality finishes. They should be somewhat lighter and stronger than the stock wheels so long as you get a monoblock wheel.

Forgeline is a great wheel, too. Brixton is starting to get to the pinky out stuff and a company like Litespeed with their forged magnesium wheels will make you question your dedication to lightweight, high strength wheels. Then, of course, there are carbon fiber offerings.

Thx for the response, I’m just searching for a good lightweight forged wheel that’s easy
To clean, and not made in CHINA! I got in touch with Savini, and they say wheels are
Made in CHINA, but there forged wheels are made in California,I have yet to see a
Savini’s manufacturing plant in California, unless they farm it out?

I'm not super sure what the aversion is to forged wheels made in China but, they still have to meet certain quality standards, such as for the TUV and JUL stuff. Brixton wheels are made in California but, they are pricey for some people. Where a product is made has no bearing upon where I spend my money. I just shoot for quality and you'll be hard pressed to find anyone disappointed with their BC Forged or Signature wheels. Also, I'm fairly certain they're made in Taiwan, too.

I want some signature SV05 wheels for my ZL1. May have to settle for an APEX group buy in the beginning though. I dont love the ZL1 wheels. Wish they were deeper.
