19' ZLE with 15k miles on it here in TX!!! It's a DD, but I choose it to be as I WFH and don't drive too much. It's mainly to the gym, grocery store, and track haha.
All I can say is that if you like your ride to be stiff, you won't disappointed in the ZLE. I ride around in track mode almost 99% of the time and will switch the car over to either T or S when bumpier roads are in my path that I am aware of.

I’ve put about 5k miles on my ZLE in the past 2 months it’s definitely rough but you get used to it, for me steep driveways and dips in the road have been more of a headache than the rough ride.

Changing drive modes in the ZLE affects steering feel, throttle mapping, exhaust and PTM modes. DSSV’s have no adjustability. If you daily a ZLE, get a 2nd set of wheels and run a ‘softer’ tire. The PS4S does a nice job taking out some of the road harshness.

I do appreciate the tire suggestion as well. I do need to get a second set badly.

Careful, the mods here will delete your thread without as much as a warning, even if there is very important information like part numbers, dsc controller, etc on whats needed to swap to regular ZL1 parts info.
I messaged a few mods, one didnt respond, the other just replied with bickering, even tho it was quite a productive thread. |

This theme repeats over and over. One member who has never owned a ZLE never misses a chance to tell ZLE owners how crappy their cars are even when these owners tell us how much they like their cars. Which is why he's on my Ignore List.

It really depends on a few thing, most of which are subjective.
Consider the roads you frequent. If they are trash, you will certainly notice the suspension in the car toss you around a bit. If you aren't sensitive to firmer suspension setups, then it'll be perfectly fine. If you don't enjoy the sharp, nimble feeling that the 1LE package offers, even on the streets and would prefer a softer, more supple setup, get the standard ZL1 or even an SS 1LE. Lastly, there's nothing really stopping you from getting a standard ZL1 and slapping on all of the 1LE aero. Granted, it won't be an actual 1LE as there's more to that car than just it's aero but, it is what it is. I daily my ZL1 1LE and I enjoy the suspension in general, even on the street. But I also really enjoy very sharp feeling cars and I don't think I need to have my ass floating along the road or other creature comforts/luxuries that other people demand of their cars. After being in vehicles with aftermarket coilovers and much harsher setups, the ZL1 1LE feels pretty supple to me in general; outside of specific moments where I'm tossing it around. I find the ride to be quite comfortable and I also find that 99% of the time, people are regurgitating what they've heard/read from other people who have rode in or drove a ZL1 1LE instead of firsthand accounts.
