track Mode only matters if you have Automatic !!! sport mode calibration on the manual LT1 just makes the throttle more responsive !!! the Rest is done by the Driver !!!

My 2020 Camaro I ❤️ eats clutches (V6 w/3160 trans)
I have a 2020 Camaro LT 3.6 with Tremec 3160 6 speed. It shifts ok but the car jerks back and forth after shifting in 2nd and 4th. It is on its 2nd clutch with only 8300 miles. When I bought it from Carmax it only had 3600 miles and I had to replace the clutch at 5800 miles. WTF is wrong with the trans? It isn't the clutch. It is like there isn't enough pressure to keep the clutch engaged with the engine. An internal transmission issue is CAUSING Ait to eat clutches. 2500 miles since replacement I am getting "clutch overuse warning" message at 60 to 65 mph in 4th with the cruise control on and my left foot on the dead pedal. Does anyone else have 6th generation V6 with 6 speed 3160 transmission problems? I love my car but if I dump it now; new and used car prices are too high.
Really stressed about this issue. I can't be the only one. -Chris Last edited by Camrochris; 09-05-2022 at 11:15 AM. Reason: Grammar |

Yikes, I would say it’s only a matter of time before you feel it again. My ZL1 is currently at the dealership for the 2nd time in two months for issues very similarly to the ones you describe. 3 weeks ago they replaced valve body, solenoids, and fluids and gaskets. Issue went away in a higher gear but now persists in the 1-2 shift. All of my issues occur mainly around low RPMS 1000-2500, but your sharp rev changes and neutral explanation sound exactly the same to me.

My son's '17 3.6 A8 has had a hard shift from 1st to 2nd about 4 times in the last few months, less than 21K ( I started a thread about which Mobile transmission fluid was the shutter fix). Called the dealer service rep and he said to bring in and leave (warranty ends 9/30/2020). I have tried to get it to repeat problem last few days and only barely felt one time. When it happens is at very low rpm, leaving parking lot, etc. Retired mechanic friend said to carry to dealer. Torn on what to do as I fear they will have car a couple of weeks and I will get the ole "we couldn't get it to do it). Trans has been great since new fluid fix for shutter at 5K. With all talk about A8 problems don't want a "repair" that might make things worse. Advise/Opinions? Thanks.
