I'm skeptical, even the amount of product required to cover the entire car (multiple times, as you probably want more than a single coat) costs more than $200. At your house is also strange, what if you live in a generally dusty environment? I'd want this done in a garage that is cleaner than an average home, let alone a driveway...

I use the meguiars hybrid. It is freaking awesome.

Dealer called and said it was a special order and not for sale. Then Why put it on the website for sale.

Yeah, but I would need at least $3800 in paint correction on mine before it was coated, and that's doing it myself

They put it on the website so you would contact them, and now they can spam and call you for all eternity trying to sell you a car.

My dealer tried to pin me down for floor mats.

The actual exchange:
"Why should I spend $399 on floor mats?! The car comes with front mats!"
"They're really good floor mats."

They got me for Lowjack. I agreed if they passed on the floor mats, tinting, etching, and the other BS things which added up to close to $2000.

Beats paying a dealer markup.

Maybe it's just because of the area I live (SE Michigan) or I just got lucky with my salesman/dealership but I am glad I didn't have to deal with any of this mark up crap. My salesman also made sure they didn't put the dealership tag on my bumper which I hadn't even thought about until after the fact and he mentioned it to me, "by the way I made sure they didn't put the dealership imprint on there for you."

My dealer had both of my cars and my truck on their site when ordered. Unless they click a button, so to speak, it will show up in their online inventory. Sales tactic or laziness? I report you decide.

Dealer I bought mine through snuck a 895$ protection package in on me for exterior and interior. I was docu signing and questioned salesman and he explained it off as ceramic coating on high end cars. Needless to say when car arrived from Missouri to Texas I spent 4 weeks burning up the phone until I reached the sales manager as there was no ceramic coating. He explained salesman miss spoke as that was not part of the deal. He made it right as my check for 895$ was in the mailbox today. My car was sold at msrp with a 499 doc fee . Can't stand hidden stuff dealers try and sneak in .

I would have been ok with that, but on the site is also has the 3 add-ons listed, so someone deliberately did it.

A damn shame people have to be like that. A damn shame.

Car dealers are typically slimy salesmen, they will steal your watch if they can... Don't put up with any of their crap...

Dealership add-on's have always been nothing but a money grab and it's even more important to them now because people are laughing in their faces (finally) at the "ADM" (Additional Dealer Markup for those that don't know the term) fees that some dealers believe are fully justified because it's sitting on their lot.

Tell them you are only buying the car and they are welcome to remove their unrequested add-on items prior to sale. In fact, INSIST that the brake light BS be removed and the Decor Package as well. Your only response needs to be "I'm only buying the car as built by GM. Money in hand. On your lot. Now. Ready to buy. Or, you can hope for another buyer to come along and pay for all of this crap. And I'll remind you that hope is not a strategy."
