1LE Spoiler Stress Crack

While I was having my Wideband installed yesterday, we noticed a stress crack on the center leg of the rear spoiler at the base where it meets the trunk. Has anyone else experienced that?

I'm going to see if I can have it warrantied. I'll post a pic later on this evening when I leave the office.

I've had 2 used ones.......one of them did have a small hairline crack on the bottom of that middle stanchion.

Yeah it could possibly be vibration related at speed. I'm very careful to never lean on that thing or anything silly like that.

I repaired the crack from the inside with epoxy and a fiberglass like fabric..and repainted......so far no issues......also I'm always aware about not slamming the trunk and being sure to never use the wing to close it.....but that should be a given for any OCD car guy....lol
