One thing Hennessy seems to offer is a warranty that I don’t see any other shop offering. Lots of folks with lots of money to spend anyway they want, seems like they have found their nitch in the market. I definitely like watching Hennessy videos. Personally I think their pricing it high but can see some of the $’s paid goes towards clean professional shop and a track to test. I don’t see anything wrong with competition. If I were to guess, their customer base income range is on another level where many don’t need to question cost.

Seems the LS1 & LS6 were better engines to me. My 2001 SS made 335 to the wheels stock. (I broke this car in wide open, was on the 1/4 track with less than 100 miles, the harder I drove it the faster it got) Seems the LS motors made way more power than advertised, and the computers learned! My 2001 Corvette made 325 RWHP Stock.

The price of their used 1000hp Exorcist seems to hover around $120k, which is basically the base price plus HPE's upcharge. I've never seen an 850 for sale.

In a nutshell you lose about 20% to the wheels.
1000 hp equals 800 at the wheels. |

More like 10-12 % at the wheels with the newer transmissions.

My 850 dyn'd at 723 on 93 octane, so +/-15% loss with an A10, but they didn't push it to 100%

Newer Autos(A10/A8) are more efficient then that since they lock the converter @ WOT. More like 15-17% total drivetrain loss. Manuals are about 2-3% less.

What about it? It’s on E and meth and makes 870(STD)
I make 850 just on E. Nothing special about it,

What does this have to do with HPE850 BHP-type 93 octane builds with totally virgin OEM TB and SC that the OP asked about? It's not an angry question, but rather a calm question.
