The ACS rock guards look a lot better, although they are more expensive. I recommend watching a few youtube videos so you can get a better look at each. I was originally going to use the ZL1 addons, but after getting a better look on the videos, I went with the ACS Composites.

No, I have not, but I don't see why they wouldn't fit, since they do no extend behind the wheel well, unlike the OEM part (see photos below, pardon my dirty car).

I went the PPF route and did it myself. One thing about PPF is it is cheap and you can mess up a lot without hurting your car before you get to the cost of a pro installation.
Adding PPF behind the rear wheels is the easiest place to do it yourself. Get 3M PPF from Amazon in 6 or 12 inch widths to start. If you don't like it just pull if off. Once you get the hang of it doing, straight sections are not too bad. I have done 3 cars (fronts, skirts/rockers/door sills, rear quarters and mirrors). You just have to be patient and be willing to start over. https://www.amazon.com/3M-Scotchgard...s%2C121&sr=8-6

I did the same thing, but added unpainted ACS rock guards for the little bit of protection they add as well.

I have the zl1 addons set. I have a SS1LE with side skirts too. I’ve tracked maybe 15 times. No chips at all.

Do it. Cheap insurance and it doesn’t look bad.

RockBlokz vs ZL1 Add- ons

I swapped from ZL1 add-ons to RockBlokz after seeing the latter on Arpad_m's car. The RockBlokz do provide a good bit more coverage. Here are pics, taken from the rear of the car, of each product

I just put ZA rock guards on my car over the weekend when swapping onto some ZLE sized wheels. Does what it is suppose to do.

However this was 2nd and last purchase from ZL1Addons. Customer care I got when my black $165 tow hook faded in 6 months and they just told me to pound sand, will never do business with them again.

I'd purchase anything other than ZL1Addons parts IMO, sub-par quality in comparison. And their "high quality" items, they don't stand behind.

I checked out the rockblokz ones and it says they are not confirmed to fit the zl1, and they do not fit cars with ground effects.
