After warming up the tires as much as possible (if you can call it that) and putting some miles on, I experimented with different microlevels of the Controller’s Sport mode and the car in both Touring and Sport modes. I found that under my current weather conditions, i was able to somewhat limit spin with the car in Touring mode and the controller in SP.4. Even with those “mild” combination of settings the throttle feels more responsive (minimal lag between pressing the pedal and feeling acceleration) and the “bog” issue is noticeably improved. *I caveat this with the statement that I never really took issue with the M6 “bog” because I’ve always been able to modulate the throttle by feel and eliminate that as an issue.

I can’t wait for some warmer weather to further evaluate the controller. Based on what I’ve seen so far I consider it a no brainer, especially at the price point.
Thanks for the feedback. Mine arrived today but I won’t be able to install it until the spring. Glad to hear you noticed an improvement, I can’t wait to install mine on my ZLE and see what it does with the Soler TB I already have on there.

I messed up and left mine installed when I remapped ECU. Immediately got P0697 and P06A3 codes, and "engine power reduced" warning message. Noticed there was no power to the throttle controller after the remap which is probably what caused the CEl..... Haven't had time to troubleshoot. Hopefully it's an easy fix.....

I’m selling my Gen 1 controller along with the Soler ported throttle body, if any one’s looking. $180 shipped for both. Still have original packaging.

It is an easy fix, my tuner had the same issue when it was plugged in. It's a pain in the ass if you're switching between tunes to have to unplug it at the pedal, flash your tune, and than replug it in. Unplug the controller at the pedal and clear the codes, should be good to go after that. I'm almost tempted to unplug mine and leave it instead of going thru the hassle again.

Wow, you are about 4 days late with this post. I ordered my Soler on Sunday night and it arrived today. I would've jumped all over this.

I had to dig up my post to pinpoint when I bought my unit. I pulled it off the car today - less than a year and about 10 track days in with about 10k miles. The unit started throwing a cell and putting the car in limp mode.

It happened twice which is enough for me. I went back to stock and probably won’t look back. From what I’ve read Soler’s customer service is excellent and I’ll give them a call this week to see if I have some kind of warranty. But for now the plan is to stick with stock.

Did you change anything in your tune? That is most definitely going to throw limp mode CEL type codes.

Has anyone installed one of these controllers yet? Did some searching, but didn't find any love.
I have one, still new in the box from when I bought my SP 100mm Throttle body... I guess with HPTuners (which I have), you can change your "tune" to have different pedal input values. But to be honest, I think my car is right on the edge of "too much" for the street driving I doing and can't get good traction as it is. So this device will remain in the box. Good Luck !

Can you be more specific? Is there a specific category change or a particular value that would cause it to throw a code? I made changes last year when I purchased the unit and never had any issues.

Personally, I think the motor just failed. It happened once at a track day about 3 weeks ago. I restarted the car and it drove fine for another 600 miles or so and it happened again yesterday.

Nothing value specific, and the throttle controllers can be very finicky when paired with a tune. I found it more of a nuisance and pointless once I tuned the car than having to deal with unplugging, replugging, tuning, than hoping it wouldn't go into limp mode.
