Pulled it out of the garage to do some garage cleaning, and took it for a spin because it sat in the driveway, taunting me.

Walked past it with the car cover on, spent the last 2+ weeks in Europe (Croatia & Netherlands) so haven't had a chance to drive it, might take it out tomorrow for a spin and lunch...

Washed waxed and buffed.
I gave mine a bath and buffed it out. I also can't believe the lexan Wheel Skinz look so good and hold up so well. I spent a lot of money on the supercharger; parts and labor for the new clutch and the brst mod...my Bilstein PSS Nordschliffe suspension. Add BMR end links and it just rides on rails.
Today I just removed lighted cupholders and recharged them. The good ones last about two weeks on a charge Here is a quick pic after $11k was invested. The rear fascia, diffuser, splitter, sealed 350w Pioneer sub and Bose front speakers with "Bose" pins on the speaker grills in front. I still have camaro by brembo calipers with new brake pads in a box ready to install. I also need to get rims with the correct offset for the calipers after the tires and brake pads on the car wear out. It is running great. If I am nice to it, it will be nice to me. I like the RS headlights....but if any more camaro parts arrive there will be hell to pay
So I buff wash and enjoy. I dont have a garage. I hace a condo. I think I have spent enough. It is now time for better tuning that doesn't put as much pressure on the clutch. Heavy duty or not. |

Used some old touch up paint to upgrade the plain LT1 shift knob cap. Looks really good in person / in the sun. Pretty surprising because I wasn’t expecting much. Looks like I’ll have to upgrade my other crappy carbon fiber cap too…Going to change up the color / design a bit.

I was really looking forward to driving my car to de-compress. Walked out to the garage and found the driver's side rear tire dead flat! (Michelin PS4's) Apparently I'd picked up a nail on my last drive in the states. Man, was I disappointed... fortunately it was an easy patch and since I pulled the wheel and just dropped it off, the tire shop did it for free! I'd never done business with them before, but I'll be going back. |
