I've seen videos of people messing with the zoom and positioning of the camera mirror, so it can definitely be adjusted. Do you mean you wish it could zoom further in?

I hated camera-mirror at first to the point I didn't use it. Then after a while I gave it second chance and I got used to it in like 1-2 days... The only con is - you cannot check out your hair if it's messed up lol.

Today I installed the hero LED side markers. That was pretty easy, just takes time to work those tiny screws out with the rear tires in the way. The car looks much better now, imo. Subtle, but nice.

I found these in the trunk, though. Is this something the dealer should have installed somewhere? I have no idea what these parts go to - the diagram on the paper inside the bag looks like it's for under the hood area, but idk why I have these randomly laying in the trunk...

Looks like parts to go under the front of the car, maybe the splitter?

Get the Hero Smoked Rear Reflectors, they'll look great on there, I put them on my SS... https://www.phastekperformance.com/H...ero-6-6srr.htm

It looks like your air deflectors and maybe the front license plate holder in the bag

Bingo, these are the underside air deflectors for the front bumper/splitter. I didn't even know these were dealer installed on the ZL1.

No need to pull any fuses, you can go into the menu and set the exhaust on loud all the time if you want.

Even track mode closes the valves. If you want them open all the time you have to pull fuse 51. It won't make it louder but you will not get those transitions at certain speeds. For example, there is this hitch at around 1700-2100 rpm where you can hear them go from close to open as you accelerate, which annoys me. If it doesn't bother you and you like to have the ability to close the valves then keep the fuse in place but I like them fully open all the time. The exhaust is actually pretty tame.

I do plan on keeping this car for a long time (that's why I chose to spend the $$ for the sc v8 and manual, two things that are probably going to be extinct soon). I found some smoked rear reflectors for like $30, but it looks like install is a PITA! I'll see if I can get used to the rear view and shifter - I'm sure I will. Finally, if I just pull the exhaust fuse, as mentioned above, will that affect anything else, or is the car totally fine with just that fuse gone?
For me, my shifter on the ZL1 1LE seems to be smoother than I remember on my SS 1LE so, I'm surprised to hear that feedback. And yes, you can pull the fuse and the car will be perfectly fine. There will be a fault in the system but it will not throw a code nor will it pull any power, unlike your RS3.

I'm glad you're liking the car. Right now, I'm so underwhelmed with my experience that I'm already looking at potentially selling the car and I've only had it for two months. I think I need to track it at least once before I do, though. Just in case it stirs something in me when I do.

What don't you like about it? Most newer cars are heavy and refined but the Camaro still feels a bit raw and visceral and you are banging gears. The M6 gearing is pretty tall for the street so maybe you need to find a place where you can let it stretch its legs.

I still think my C5 Corvette Z06 was more fun since it was 3100 lbs. I miss that car.
