CAN YOU MIX HIGH OCTANE RACE GAS

We have a Texaco station by my house that sell race gas, but its leaded, They have 110, 112 and higher I think, but it is leaded. Will it hurt if I add a few gallons from time to time?
I use to run Airplane gas to my 81 Z28 all the time.

No do not put leaded race gas in your car. How would you expect the o2 sensors to survive that? Buy Boostane or Torqo additive if you don't have access to unleaded race fuel such as MS109.

When I was a kid I thought airplane gas was higher octane, We did not have the gas back then that we do now. It never did anything to the car, but in my mind it felt faster.

E85 is the answer to your question LOL. Get a flex fuel kit and tune and mix away (to your car’s max).

Your cats & O2 sensors will hate you if you run leaded fuel - I wouldn't play that game. The Sunoco near me sells 100 octane unleaded which I've run in my car without any issues. Might be worth searching for a Sunoco race fuel distributor near you to buy a drum of that stuff if E85 isn't an option where you are. I believe VP has similar high octane unleaded fuel as well and they have distributors all over the place.

AV gas is leaded also and could be used in older muscle cars with no cats. This is definitely higher octane and smells like Cam2 110. Do not use leaded 110 or AV gas in your ZL1 even with a diluted mix.

Adding a smaller amount doesn’t mean it still won’t contain lead lol…

Why is this even a question when there are vastly superior alternatives, several of which helpful folks already listed (Boostane, Torco, Race-Gas, MS109, E85 etc.)

Don't mess up your car with leaded fuel (and btw it's a disgrace that leaded fuel is still being sold even if only for aviation purposes, lead is no joke).

Are there legal ramifications if you get caught putting leaded gas in a vehicle registered for road use?

There is a race track near us that sells all kinds, I went to get a few gallons because my wife filled tank with 89. I got there and they were out of the unleadeds, still had lots of leaded though. I added 2 gallons of something 112. I think it was leaded but that pump was hard to differenciate.
