Do yourself a favor, look at the AFE Track model, Still has a box, but open element top side, the top liner was perfect fit, install was easy. Roto fab is just a simple heat shield with a big filter. I examined both, plus a few others, Fit and finish the AFE track in carbon fiber to me was the best. I had mine in in less than 30 min. No hood clearence issues. I had a few companies bid on it, got it for 599, Started at 700

I looked at the AFE Track Series Carbon Fiber but decided against it because the rubber seal that goes around the top of the air box and seals it to the inside of the hood has a good size gap in it. That gap has to let in engine heat.

I think you will be happy with the RotoFab, JBones!

That aFe Power model looks nice! Maybe some foam weatherstripping will seal that area off, if that's a concern.

Another vote for Rotofab here. I, too, have had both, and agree completely with Josh and King (among the others). I ran it for several hundred miles, and removed the blower lid dampener, and got most of the whine I was looking for. Surprisingly - I'm pretty sure the Big Gulp actually gave MORE, but I'm not recommending it. I'm just commenting on the whine.
