I think you have better luck receiving a steak dinner in place of money as a form of apology without an actual "I'm sorry" spoken verbally.

If you are a vegetarian or vegan, however, then you are SOL entirely.

Haha, I tried a few times, they would never budge (even though they do have valves on some of their exhaust products)

Absolutely, admittedly the thread has a real long title but I could have done a better job referencing it.

Ya won't be disappointed, our system on a ZL1 is one of my favorite soundtracks.

To shed some light on why we didn't offer a valved system for Camaro, during testing we found that our Touring Edition equipped with drone-canceling 180 Technology® resonators worked well to deliver sound when you want it and more subdued tones when you need to tip toe around.

That way your right foot is the valve controller

We also include valve simulators so you can stay CEL free, so no stress there.

If you want to peruse some more information on our 180 Technology resonators, here is a video going into detail.

The AWE website only (as far as i can tell) has "non" resonated sound clips. Do you have any with the "180 technology resonators" I can hear? What's the point of the resonators if you can just add valves and run with the non resonated version? Not trying to be a smarty pants, as I am seriously considering changing from my Borla to an AWE. And is the touring or track catback exhaust a "switchpath" exhaust?

Sara, this is the same answer we get from you guys every time the topic comes up.

What those that are missing the valved exhaust from your lineup are saying is NPP provides an additional control step beyond one's right foot (in the way of drive modes) that change the exhaust note characteristics based on situations, not just pedal pressure, ie an additional dimension of control.

In other words, when I feel like turning on track exhaust mode, I want the exhaust to be loud most of the time, even at part throttle. When it's still dark at 5:30am and I drive out of the neighborhood, I don't want to drive at 10% throttle all the time just to have a quieter exhaust—I already have drive modes (aka profiles) that let me quiet the car down, even with the exact same accelerator action.

This is what AWE is asking people with NPP to give up. Some don't care and are fine with it, these are your happy customers. Others, however, don't understand the reluctance to acknowledge it and tell us flat out why you don't want to use your already existing technology (meaning minimal necessary extra validation) for an NPP compatible product.

If you think you would sell too few units, so be it, totally understandable as this is your business and your decision, but the single counterpoint you guys keep making ("180 technology is good enough, just use your right foot") is disingenuous.

Oh, and there have been quite a number of people here who already expressed interest in a valved system and appreciate the freaking amazing sound of your exhaust, even over Borla and other big names, so the point about sales numbers is at least worth a look IMO.
