Even the 14 and the 16-year-old don't complain about the back seats (and they aren't exactly the "let me suffer quietly and not tell dad" type). I get what OP is saying though, we do have a large SUV as well.

Yeah, it was the family car for me too. Except with a new kid on the way, much more difficult to take care of all of them while in the car.

I made round trip Michigan - Florida in Charger, Scat pack WB, but acceleration aside it's the same thing. No problem. Comfortable as heck, just incapable of taking whole f... house with you... If you know what I mean

when my kids were babies we had a 67 mustang and 66 pontiac tempest that thought it was a GTO.as time passed the kids learned to drive in both of those cars...and the other kids in school were jealous of the cars.

My Camaro was the family bus every day M-F for the first three years I had it. Oldest in the front seat, next two in the back seats.

Nobody complained. Last year I bought my son a Mustang. Now he is the bus driver and the Camaro only gets out once or twice a week.
