Lift points?

Just want to lift, off ground, one rear wheel
To replace tire, instead of lift points on sill body
Can I lift on rear lower A-Arm, so as to just lift
Rear tire off ground ?

Do not lift on aluminum parts. Bad_Things(TM) will happen.

Use the rear pinch weld or the diff.

If you have the coupe, then the rear subframe is a great place to use to jack up the car. Put a hockey puck on the jack so you don't leave any marks there. That's what I do and I have done that every time without trouble.

On the convertibles, I believe it is mentioned that a brace blocks off the access to the subframe, so the rear diff would be the next best bet.

Get some of the lift blocks that go on the pinch welds. Pretty sure you can find them on Amazon for like $35 as opposed to the ones that cost $90.

I dunno where the lift points are on a supra. Probably on the softest part of the oil pan.

No one here should feel bad about not knowing where to lift this car. Not even the techs at GM understand where this thing needs to be lifted. So...

I have a set of the zl1 addons lift blocks as well as a mag pad. All I’ve ever needed. They work great.

I normally use Quick Jack to lift cars, excellent product by the way,
But I just wanted to lift one wheel, by using the lower A-Arm to raise
Tire off ground, instead of jacking the car from the pinch weld.
(Ole’ school method)

Again... get this, it's all you need to lift one wheel with standard jack without damaging pinch weld or touching skirts and it always works great...
