Why?...

Used, 3 year old Huracan is for 260k, add to that those modifications... How many TIMES is it more expensive than ZL1?

Video is cool, just to see how fast the lambo is.

@mariojas I guess if you can own a Lamborghini you probably aren't worried about cost effectiveness or budget lol.

It's a race car. It should be faster on a race track like VIR.

It's a lightweight, customized race car, of course it's faster. A gutted ZL1 with a cam, headers and 2650 combo would put up a better fight.

It takes big money to buy a Lambo and I imagine a lot to keep it running.

Nice video. That Lamborghini was ripping. And the ZL1 is no slouch.

The Huracan and the R8 are still sports cars for Audi and Lamborghini. They went to great lengths to make a reliable sports car that could actually be daily driven and rid themselves of the stigma of unreliable supercars (Ferrari recently did the same thing). You'll see a lot of that particular generation Huracan/R8 with a lot of miles because they can actually survive that long, as opposed to their previous iterations that were much less reliable. Big money is a matter of perspective but, when I was in the market to purchase one, I ultimately didn't do so because of the vehicle's value proposition. I didn't like the bang-for-the-buck factor and the unnecessary attention it would garner. Not to mention the roads around here aren't the best and I would loathe slamming into potholes or catching rock chips on the regular from lifted trucks.

However, I digress. While they may both be VAG subsidiaries, the partnership between the two companies was really apparent in these vehicles and everyone benefitted from it. I wish Porsche were as open-minded to cooperating with other VAG companies.
